Please join us to discuss advocating for Legislation to Limit New Fossil Fuel Infrastructure. As we curtail fossil fuel in Maryland, it makes no sense to continue building new fossil fuel
infrastructure except in very limited circumstances. We will discuss how to show that Maryland should accept this reality and how to curtail fossil fuel infrastructure construction in Maryland.

Global warming is a critical global issue with solutions that are within our reach, if we are willing to do our part. As the Chesapeake Bay is one of the most vulnerable areas in the United States to the impacts of climate change, those who love this special place have a particular urgency to take action for immediate solutions.
Climate Stewards of Greater Annapolis is a local group of individuals deeply concerned about this issue. We believe that action and education are key elements in paving the road to a safe world for us, our children, and future generations.
Our bi-monthly meetings aim to further our own understanding of this complex issue (meetings for learning) and to coordinate diverse actions that aim to reverse climate change and reduce its impacts. If you are interested in learning more about climate change, would like to involved in local and national initiatives, or are simply curious about the issue, please join us at one of our events or sign up for our action updates.
